Up for auction is striking pair of mid-century modern “Brutalist” double candle stick holders, hand-made by California designer and architect Robert Stanton (1900-1983) circa the 1960's-70's.

Rare and hard to find, these two unique vintage double candlestick holders feature welded “Brutalist” sculptural style in highly textured patinated brass, unmarked and unsigned.  have not disturbed the original patina, leaving any polishing choices to the new owner.  The dimensions are approximately 1/2" tall (larger holder) by 1/4" tall (shorter holder) by 7/8" wide, and each cylinder is 1/2" in diameter.  This pair of stunning “Modernist” sculpted brass candelabra is in very good vintage condition with no dings or dents and only very light surface marks or wear from use and age (please see all photos).

A great addition for the collector of unmistakable mid-20th century modern Robert Stanton “Brutalist” style and design.
