On offer is this fabulous pair of vintage French silver plate fish servers.
Both sides of the handles are embossed with flowing foliage and flowers, whilst the rear of the fork head and server/slide has an embossed & chased (engraved) foliage and ribbon pattern.  In France the cutlery is set with the service turned over, hence the most elaborate cresting appears on the rear (unlike with english flatware where the table is set with the service face up). No makers markings that can see.Slide/server measures 29.5cm in length. Fork, in trident shape, measures 25.25cm in length.In very good condition odd surface scratch commensurate with age use.  Please consider photos.Wonderful set that will delight.
