Well made piece box with dovetailed corners and raised lip on the bottom piece for nice flushed look when lid is on.£? The more look at it, it could have been an old cigar box, it looks like there was sticker on the top piece at one time, It could have also been sticker from the girl that used the boxed! On the bottom of the box, across the top, it says This box and it's content's belong to Kay Lynn Thomas that part is all printed and then underneath her printed name, she signed her name. The box is 11 inches long and 1/4 inches tall together. Here is the tricky part...each box is inches tall by themselves giving you almost inches of depth on the inside for paper, cards, etc. I, of course am including the lip on the bottom measurement. don't know what kind of wood this is, my guess is pine, still very neat and usable box!
