| Seller notes: | “Northern Wisconsin estate auction find! Nice vintage oval wooden painted box with unique wooden top lid. Outside painted muted red and inside cream color. Box itself measures 14 1/2" long x 10" wide and 7" tall. The lid is 17" from end to end and 11" wide. Features carry handle and unique closure system. Pull wooden tab on one side slightly outward and lift up on lid. Then pull lid up at angle and the other end slips out of the other end tab. Appears handmade with possibly someone's initials imprinted on bottom "JAL". Multitude of possibilities of how to use this item as decor item or as storage. See Pictures. Thanks for Looking!” |
