On offer is this vintage silver plate (Britannia Metal) bed chamber candle stick holder with candle snuffer Wee willie winkie style.Made by renown Sheffield firm of James Dixon & Sons.Embossed tear drop like swirls, with nice curved handle, still with original snuffer.
Heavily tarnished-possible wear to the silver plating (hard to tell would require patient clean/lots of elbow grease to return to silver colour). The lip of the candle cup is slightly bent. Odd surface scratch and mark also consistent with age and use. Please consider photos.15.5cm diameter plus 2cm for the handle span. Approx 7cm height.  Holds candle of ~2.2cm diameter at base.Interesting piece.
