On offer is this vintage silver plate hot water pot by James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield, England.Two intricate engine turned bands wrap around the pot.  Stands ~23cm to top of the lid handle.  Base diameter of 9.6cm. Base stamped 1/2 pint size.In poor condition has obviously been well loved and used piece.  The silver plate to the handle shows wear. There are surface scratches and wear on the body. Base is slightly bulbous over the stamped mark but sits flat ok.  Finial on the lid has been squashed/bent. Interior would require clean prior to use. Please consider photos.Still holds liquid fine not without charm.
