This is SCRIMSHAW TOOTH 1/2"long 1/4" wide showing the the U.S. Constitution capturing the Frigate Guerriere on August 19th, 1812 on one side and beautiful eagle, set of crossed flags and cannons with the inscription "VENI VIDI VICI" on the other side. This Scrimshawed Tooth captures the BEAUTY, FEEL and AUTHENTICITY of 19th Century Scrimshaw. Nice item representing famous sea battle in the War of 1812. This is museum REPRODUCTION
