Royal Vienna Hand Painted Porcelain Pot de Creme Flower Finial & Twist Handle for sale
Up for auction is lovely vintage hand painted Royal Vienna Pot De Crème with flower finial and an intertwined and twisted handle. It is 7" tall to the top of the finial and the rim diameter is 4". It has pretty hand painted polychrome enamel Dresden style roses and flowers with gold accents against white background. It has the blue under glaze Bindenshild Shield mark used by The Imperial and Royal Porcelain Manufactory along and the impressed numbers 25 and 815 on the inside of the base foot along with the incised letter "Z" on the bottom of the pot. The impressed mark of 25 identifies the molder and turner and the 815 identifies the year (1815) from 1784 to 1864. The condition is good with the exception of the fact that most of the white petals are missing from the finial and the green leaves and stems have few small chips or nicks. am also listing matching Pot De Crème with an orange band versus the green band.
