140mm Cast Bell
Circa 1950
Not much can say about this one. It looks great and has good strong chime but no makers marks or names. was told that it was brought over from South Africa few decades ago and was originally on small boat.
The shape looks quite modern so my guess is mid 20th century. In saying that it is well made, looks great, is large enough that it grabs attention and has great sound.
Weight is about 1.4kg.
140mm in diameter around rim and 110mm high. Rope hangs down about 30cm from the rim.
