Japanese Red Lacquer Miniature Table, top is 5/8 inch diameter, piece stands 1/8 inches high, probably early 1900’s, remnants of paper label on bottom, hand painted in Makie style, old damage and repair to one leg, chip to lacquer on top rim, damage to lacquer of legs and small damage to upper 3rd leg, minor soiling to lacquer of top, unusual miniature table in red lacquer with cabriole legs, black lacquer painted on bottom and inside legs, beautiful design of roosters in bamboo grove with gold details on the leaves and the feathers, geometric design along the edge of the top, the feet of the legs have gold highlights, the upper part of the legs have hand painted design of flying cranes with golden wings and legs, perfect for large dollhouse or for display with other Japanese miniatures.Sales Tax to be paid by NY Residents.
