This elegant old box is in the Art Deco style. It has good polished finish with geometric marquetry cartouche in different woods and small inlaid mahogany escutcheon. green felt is fitted to the bottom for furniture protection. The box opens on its original brass stay open hinges with brass lock but no key. Beautiful period interior (see photos) with fitted tray. delightful box, could be used as jewellery box or maybe sewing items, measuring 11" 1/2" 5". Thanks for looking.
