This lovely old box has good polished finish set off with two pretty parquetry bands. There is mother of pearl cartouche and great catch although this is relatively modern. green felt is fitted to the base for furniture protection. The box opens on its original stay open hinges and the great interior has blue period paper to the walls with blue velvet to the bottom and underside of the lid. very pretty box, minor wear commensurate  to its age, small veneer repair to the back as shown. Measurements are 3/4" 1/2" 4", thanks for looking.
