This beautiful Victorian box has very good polished finish and shape. It has m.o.p. roundals, cartouche and escutcheon being connected with pewter stringing. There is beautiful moulding to the bottom, edge of the lid and edge of the upstand  to the lid. Stands well wherever placed. Minor wear commensurate to age. green felt fitted to the base for furniture protection. The lid lifts on brass hinges and there is brass lock but no key. Lovely interior with dark green material to the walls and an antique dark green velvet to the bottom and underside of the lid. Great box from the period measuring 11 3/4" 3/4" 3/4". Thanks for looking
