Antique wooden trinket box restoration project.
Just needs ivory (? Ivorine? Bone? Bakelite? don't know) replacing in plsces. The mother-of-pearl/abalone looks intact. The hinges are fine, no play or slackness moving sideways. Only up and down, as expected!
The wood looks bit tired, so probably needs fresh coat of polish to bring the grain out better.
Dimensions 14x9.5x5cms (outside) & 11.5x7cms (inside).
A good restoration project, for anyone with time on their hands and while away few hours!
