This is really fabulous Art Nouveau hand fan, ca. 1900-1920.  It is gouache painting on silk of grapes and flowers, and the painted design is brought down onto the cattlebone sticks. The top edges are in scalloped shape really pretty  There is brass loop and cotton tassel (which has seen better days).  Two of the sticks need to be re-attached to the slips at the shoulder.  Otherwise, in fabulous condition.  The measurements are:  8-1/2"-10" long by 15" wide when open.
