Approx size in centimetres 23 18 16 .A lovey old Bombe shape trinket or Jewelery box almost 200 years old.Body work is thick hand cut mahogany veneer,with boxwood stringing all round.Pictures show condition which is good,dont forget its old & will have signs age & wear here & there.White bone escutchion & cartouche in diamond shape.The exquisite ornate original claw feet & side carry handles are pressed brass with gilt brass finish ,the gilt  is worn in parts,but all are in good condition.The old lock which is working with its key,just needs little extra turn clockwise to unlock.I think the hinges are old replacements going by the area next to them ,as you can see in the pics.Under lid has tooled leather panel in green.The inside is lined in green velvet.Overall very nice old attractive box.Free post UK mainland,if you live in Highlands & Islands please ask for postage cost.Overseas bidders to use Ebays GSP scheme.Please view the item page for postage costs.
