Approx size in centimetres  20 14 8.3Very attractive looking box as pictures show.I would say the veneer is Ebony.It has molded canted edges to lid.Strips of wood inlay bandings around front & lid.Brass escutchion.Beautiful brass etched & inlaid cartouche ,with areas of pink & faux tortoise shell inbetween,very striking!.Its base is dark red leather.Hinges are ok.Lock is working with key.The whole of the inside is lined in burgundy red velvet.Postage free UK mainland only.Please ask for quote if you live in Highlands & Islands,a small charge will be made.Overseas bidders to use GSP scheme.Find out the postage cost on view item page,cost is determined by Ebay.
