Item: -                      Solid Sterling Silver Victorian Piece Tea Service.Description: -           This is Superb Victorian Sterling Silver Four Piece Tea Service, by Edward, Edward Junior, John & William Barnard, London 1842. The tea set comprises a coffee pot, teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug, each of compressed fluted melon form with acanthus capped bracket feet, cast spouts, scroll handles, and engraved with crest. The tea set is in very good condition, just the usual light surface marks from usage.Assay: -                    .925 (Sterling Silver)Period: -                   1842Maker: -                   Edward, Edward junior, John & William BarnardEngraving: -              Engraved with crestMeasurement: -        The coffee pot measure 26cm from handle to spout and 25.5cm in height. The teapot measures 28.5 cm from handle to spout and 17.1 cm in height.
