Antique/vintage pair of Cairo Ware vases. Mamluk revival, Syrian?
Stunning wire work on brass, gold leaf, silver and copper (or gold) with intricate Arabic charactersin two cartouches on each. Other patterns and delicate animated symbols.About 6.25" tall (16 cm). Weight together, 674 g.
Would clean up to vibrant mass of symbolic colour and images.
