Antique bent wood pantry box for sale
This Scandinavian style antique bentwood pantry box is oval in shape with both nailed and hand sewn closures. The lid has aged to beautiful honeyed colour. The wood seems to be beech and it is solid ,one piece lapped construction of nicely grained wood and hand made wood lacing. This box would have been used to hold dry storage items and its primitive/folk art style is also reminiscent of the Shaker style boxes from America.Size: 13 5.5 cm
