Star Map or JourneyThis flat stone is pecked on one face with row of seven circles and dots connected with single line. The shape could represent constellation with bright and dim companions, but which grouping is unknown.Above this grouping is pecked, grooved image somewhat like simple sketch of human figure with halo or large head piece. It also could be interpreted as comet with haloed head, curving tail with possibly two smaller tails near the head. There appears to be remains of yellowish, orange ochre in the workings.On the rear face label reads;-"J Slowe£?18£ or 19£."The piece was collected during the 1960's in central New South Wales.  Size ~185mm (~7.3 ins.) ~123mm (~4.8 ins.) ~30mm (~1.2ins.)Weight ~1350gms (~48 ounces)Will package in tissue paper, bubble wrap and AusPost container for purchaser.
