| : | “Elegant, vintage, desk salvaged from Northeastern Pennsylvania. It is made of walnut and has 4 drawers. All drawers have dovetailed joinery, and all are equipped with pulls. The pulls on the 3 drawers to the left are original to the desk, but the 2 on the drawer above the knee hole are not.The piece is strong and sturdy, but does have nicks, scratches, spots of worn finish from top to bottom (see photos to get a better idea). This is a great candidate for refinishing, as it would look spectacular once cleaned up. You could also touch it up and use it as if you prefer a distressed look. The drawers slide in and out easily, and the desk's construction is tight. It was built to last a lifetime and will serve you well for decades to come.” |
