DESCRIPTION: A microlith is small stone tool usually made of flint or chert and typically centimetre or so in length and half centimetre wide. They were made by people from 35,000 years ago to about 3,000 years ago, in Europe, north Africa, across Asia and in Australia, and used in spear points and other tools or as scrapers for making tools These microliths themselves are sufficiently worked so as to be distinguishable from workshop waste or accidents. This group was collected by W.A. Rogers self published ameteur archologist who as dated them as mid period from 5000 years ago. It has the labelling initials P.A.
